Notable honors include Hall of Fame in American Sleep & Breathing Academy (2025), and Lifetime Achievement Award by Top100Docs (2023).
Clinically, Dr. Liao is the first to pair an oral appliance with bone-building diet to show jaw and airway growth in adults and children alike. Professionally, Dr. Liao coined ground-breaking terms such as Impaired Mouth Syndrome, 3D Jaw Diagnostics®, and Airway Facial Epigenetics®.
